GOD'S PLAN OF THEN HAS NOT CHNAGED FOR US TODAY
Throughout the holy scriptures, Jesus talked about the 'harvest' and it 'being great' but that the 'laborers - really, the laboring laborers - are few'. Jesus also asked those that believe in Him to participate in the 'harvest' by being an active participant in the 'great commission'.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 9, Verses 37-38 & Chapter 28, Verses 18-20
Jesus said to his disciples " He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."
Jesus came and told his disciples “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
During the Time of Jesus and Paul
Over 1,970 years ago when Jesus and Paul spoke these words, the global population was approximately 300 million. Even at that time, the 'great commission' given to the all of Christ's believers was for all to be active participants in the sharing the 'good news message' to those that they meet.
In his Epistle to the Romans, Chapter 10, Verse 15
Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
Our Present Time
Today, the world's population exceeds 7.6 billion people and it is estimated that over 2 billion people, most living in the remotest parts of the earth, have never heard the good news message of Jesus and the salvation that is available to all that simply choose to believe in him.
Broader estimates are that beyond the 2 billion people that have never heard about Jesus, there are billions more that have heard of Jesus, but are without access to materials such as the Bible and other types of supportive or explanatory content, that would allow them to learn more and heed the calling of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, the 'seed' in these that have heard, would never 'grow deep in the heart' and thus they will never come to fully learn about Jesus and God's plan of salvation for them.
Reaching the Unreachable
How does the good news message reach these 3+ billion people that have not heard, or have heard but need to have access to the information so that their 'seed' can be watered and roots 'grow' in their 'good soil'?
How does the good news message reach this population who do not have power in most cases, and if they have a television they cannot afford a satellite receiver, and most certainly cannot afford the cost of unlimited access to the Internet but have a smartphone (mostly Android)?
The Holy Spirit Prompts
In late 2014, the Holy Spirit prompted one of the founding Servant Leaders of TruthSpots, having experience with using satellites and other technoloigies to deliver traditional and Internet Protocol (IP) based video, was prompted to commence laying the foundation for TruthSpots.
Toda,y, TruthSpots is technically ready to spread the good news message to those living in remote areas that have no TV, no Internet, and if Internet was even available, too expensive and of poor quality to watch videos as many in the developed world do.
The Holy Spirit prompting included the registration of the 'TruthSpots' domain.
The good news message can be delivered to remote areas of the world utilizing edge hardware that is installed at a remote location, which provides access to the content that was delivered via a satellite, to individuals having a Wi-Fi based smart device (Android or iOS), without the individual needing access to the Internet.
In the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 16, Verse 15
Jesus said to his disciples “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone."
