A Content and Gateway Management Platform that Manages Content and Edge Devices

Noovo is a technology company that has developed an edge media gateway device that enables the reception of Digital content from Satellite broadcast, store it locally and stream it to Smart Devices via Wi-Fi.

The solution includes a Cloud interface to manage content to the satellite (CMS) and to remotely manage gateways in the field (GMS).

The End-to-End solution can distribute digital content where internet cannot with a low operating cost and with no data cost for end users reducing the digital divide in emerging market.

The edge device, or Media Access Point (MAP), stores, serves, and streams the content to users via their smart phones using Wi-Fi that was pre-loaded or synchronized via the Internet or a satellite.

The Edge Device/Media Access Point (MAP) that Stores and Streams Content via Wi-Fi

From a user perspective, users utilize an application on their smartphone to access to the content that has been delivered to TruthSpots, without the user requiring to have an Internet service, with the experience being similar to how a user interacts with a common streaming service app (e.g. NetFlix or YouTube) through the Internet.

The TruthSpots app works on both Android and iOS devices and provides access to the content available at the edge devoce (e.g. MAP) that is deployed at a TruthSpots, using a standard Wi-Fi connection.

At TruthSpots that have a satellite return data connection or an Internet connection of some kind, support for chat with those that are connecting to the TruthSpots, or the sharing of pictures, can be enabled via the TruthSpots App.
